Queen  is a passionate and experienced pet groomer with over 20 years of dedicated service in the industry. Born with an innate love for animals, Queen discovered her true calling in 2002 when she started her grooming career as a bather at East Cooper Pet Motel. It was here that she realized her talent for bringing out the natural beauty and charm of pets through grooming.

Driven by her passion and desire to continuously improve her skills, Queen quickly advanced in her career. She joined Amy's K-9 Creations, where she honed her craft by mastering full standard breed haircuts. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to understand the unique grooming needs of different breeds set her apart from her peers.


Recognizing her exceptional talent and leadership qualities, Queen was soon promoted to the position of grooming manager at Super Pets Grooming Salon. In this role, she not only showcased her exceptional grooming skills but also excelled at managing a team of groomers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Inspired by her years of experience and her desire to provide a personalized grooming experience for pets and their owners, Queen took a leap of faith and opened her own business, Queen of the Paws, located in Norfolk, VA. With her keen eye for style and her ability to create unique and stunning looks for pets, Queen has built a loyal clientele who trust her with their beloved furry companions.


In addition to her extensive experience, Queen holds several certifications that further demonstrate her commitment to providing exceptional care for pets. She is a Certified Pet Groomer and a Certified AKC Safe Pet Groomer, ensuring that she follows the highest standards of safety and professionalism in her grooming practices. Queen is also certified in pet CPR and pet first aid, equipped with the knowledge and skills to handle emergencies and ensure the well-being of every pet in her care. Her husband, Matthew, proudly serves in the United States Coast Guard and is the captain of their family. Meet Rebecca, also known as Beanie, our dedicated Groomer's Assistant. As the eldest daughter of our groomer, Queen, I have been immersed in the world of dog grooming since my early years. Beyond being a dog mom myself, I have closely observed and learned from my mother's expertise.


The passion for this business led me to actively pursue knowledge, and upon turning 18, my mother became my mentor, imparting all the essential skills for grooming our beloved furry friends. In 2018, I put my acquired knowledge to the test, realizing that this profession demands both patience and genuine love for animals.


I am committed to ensuring that your experience, as well as that of your cherished fur babies, is nothing short of excellent. Looking forward to welcoming you soon!
